Most urban planning in India has focused on the blank canvas — greenfield smart cities built on agricultural land at the fringes of existing metros. These projects are admirable in vision, but they leave behind the living, breathing fabric of real urban India.
Etamor was founded on a different question: what if we applied the same master-planning rigour, the same technological sophistication, and the same design ambition to the cities that already exist?

A civil engineering student with firsthand experience of Lucknow's urban challenges, Shashwat founded Etamor on the conviction that India's existing districts deserve the same quality of planning attention given to greenfield developments. His research focuses on brownfield redevelopment, district-level master planning, and the integration of smart systems into legacy urban infrastructure.
